This is a big game, with the NFC West lead at stake, but the oddsmakers expect an “easy” win for the 49ers. As of early Tuesday morning, the NFL odds list the 49ers as -7-point favorites, while the Seahawks are +250 to pull off a Thanksgiving upset.
49ers Back in Business
To say that the 49ers went from top-tier to full-on sketch-fest over the last month would be an understatement. The team started the season 5-0 and looked as dominant as it had in 2022. But three straight losses to Cleveland, Minnesota, and Cincinnati had many prognosticators, myself included, questioning whether this team was a contender or pretender.
However, with decisive wins in Weeks 10 and 11, the Niners are back and ready to make a postseason push. At the very least, they are primed to cash some NFL bets this week and beyond.
But, despite their upswing, the 49ers have shown significant vulnerabilities. One, in particular, is how poorly QB Brock Purdy plays when his team is down. If the 49ers start to fall behind, it’s a good sign that the 49ers might be trending toward another upset loss, something to keep in mind when live betting on San Francisco.

While this game provides a lot of excitement, I don’t feel great about who will come out ahead here. A part of me likes the 49ers to dominate another week, while another wants to take the points with Seattle.
