Whites pushing to break into top two

Leeds United are now priced at 1/2 to earn promotion to the Premier League after beating Bristol City on Friday evening.

The Whites have been fantastic so far this season and are just one point behind the second-placed Saints in a fiercely competitive race for top-flight football next term.

Southampton, also 1/2, are currently 24 matches unbeaten and look like very stern opposition for any Championship team.

Leicester remain heavy favourites at 1/66. The Foxes have been outstanding, are sitting top of the league 11 points clear on 72 – and hope to beat Reading’s record tally of 106.

Ipswich Town, at 5/4, have slumped of late, losing at Preston North End 3-2 last weekend while West Bromwich Albion are 13/2 and in fifth spot.

It seems likely that Middlesbrough (10/1) and Hull City (12/1) will have to settle for any chance of promotion via the play-offs, although both have players well capable of giving any team problems.
