Edward Enninful’s Final British Vogue Cover Features 40 Celebs

For British Vogue’s final issue under Edward Enninful’s editorial supervision, 40 past cover stars all posed together for the cover. The Ghanaian-British fashion editor unexpectedly announced his resignation in June 2023 after more than six years as the head of the magazine. All 40 stars traveled to Manhattan for the shoot, including Oprah Winfrey, Miley Cyrus, Linda Evangelista, Kate Moss and Serena Williams. “When it came to my last issue, I knew the cover would be dedicated to women. Of course!” wrote Enninful in a message published in the magazine. “Women have shaped British Vogue for close to 108 years now and have certainly informed every moment of my six-and-a-half-year tenure here… guiding me through my entire life,” Enniful wrote. He said that Vogue must always “lean into the power of the collective,” which has been an “evolutionary period in Vogue’s history.”
